In this time of social isolation it may be very difficult to celebrate Holy Week. Many of us are used to attending church services throughout the week but that is not possible. There are many resources on line that you can access to help you to celebrate the various days. You can also simply take the time to read the account of the passion in one of the Gospels. The passion that we will read on Palm Sunday is from the Gospel of Matthew and, as is customary, the passion for Good Friday is from the Gospel of John.
There is also a reflective piece on our website under vocation, Take Time to Reflect on three people who are part of the story of the Passion in the Gospel of Matthew: the anonymous woman who anointed Jesus' head with oil at Bethany, Judas and Peter. You may find this helpful for your prayer.
May we have a Blessed Holy Week in our isolation but always in Communion with the entire Church and our world. We will be praying for all of you as we celebrate these Blessed Days.
