Prayer is the bedrock of our lives and each associate makes a commitment to daily prayer and active participation in his/her local parish community.
Each year the Associates are invited to participate in a week-end silent retreat. Yearly days of recollection are also planned. Each meeting involves time for prayer together and, whenever possible, Mass.
Associate Prayer:Jesus, help me in the spirit of St. Francis, as a Franciscan Associate, to bear witness to you in my daily life. Open my mind and my heart, to the wonder of your love and help me to share it wherever there is hurt, suffering, joy or sorrow in those I meet. Amen. |
